A group of dwarves living in a mountain community in southern China has become their community in a theme park open to the curious who want to visit this unique Lilliput.
The group living in Kunming, has built the mushroom houses, wear clothes fairy tales and has strict guidelines regarding who can live and work in the park. It is a self-sufficient community with fire department and police force and, according to spokesman said Fu Tien, “as little people are accustomed to being overwhelmed by tall people and everything we do is for us.”
Some voices concerned about human rights have raised upset seeing it as a circus act that exposes a disability to the disease of people. Others, however, believe that the high unemployment levels across China; this is just another source of work.
